Sensivo Kids brings together child-centred learning, drama and sensory experiences, structured Mandarin instruction and meaningful learning feedback to support children as they progress from participation and expression to reading and writing.
We believe enjoyment is an important starting point for language learning, but it should never be the only outcome. Through stories, music, drama and sensory exploration, children engage with Mandarin in meaningful contexts. Each experience is connected to clear vocabulary, literacy, reading or writing objectives.
Every child brings a different language background, personality and learning rhythm. We pay attention to how children understand instructions, participate and communicate, providing age-appropriate guidance to help them progress. Respecting individual differences does not mean removing learning expectations. It means finding appropriate ways to help each child grow.
Strong language skills develop through consistent, progressive learning rather than isolated activities. Our five-stage PG–K2 curriculum systematically develops listening, speaking, reading and writing, connecting vocabulary, sentence structures, character recognition, reading and handwriting in preparation for primary school.
Classroom observations and periodic feedback help families understand their child’s progress and the support they need next. From 2027, we plan to develop the Mandarin Growth Passport progressively as part of our internal learning assessment and family–teacher communication system.
Our curriculum is led by a founder with extensive experience in Singapore education, Mandarin curriculum development, drama teaching and teacher training. We value clear teaching objectives, teacher development, classroom observation and ongoing reflection. We are progressively building standardised training resources so that teaching quality can be supported by a sustainable educational system rather than relying solely on individual educators.
